Being a car owner buying a car insurance policy is benefited for us only. But the variety of car insurance policy confuses one to select the best one. So better to research well for the cheap and best one.

You appear to have a massive problem on your hands. You only have the owner’s IC photostat. You should have other transfer documents such as Registration Card and MV 3/4 too. Besides this, the vehicle’s engine too has undergone a change too.

Further, the car engine has been changes to one or another model. For this, you’ll need custom declaration form and receipt of sale too. All these has not only given you much headaches, to be frank with you, I do not think I can assist you much at all.

Hi Cikgu Yap,
can advise me how i can change my car ownership?
i only have the original owner photostat ic
the car was bought from another person, this person never change his name after bought this care previously.
and FYI the car engine also has been converted to another car model engine.
engine has been downgraded from the original cc of the car.
hope you can advise me about this.
this thing really give me headache.

Hi, I wish someone can help me with this problem of mine. I was involved in a car accident where I banged into the rear of the car in front of me. It happened due to the front car suddenly stopped trying to avoid another car from another lane. I made a police report but the officer omitted the mentioning of the third car. Anyway the other party made a claim against my insurance. What I found out later from the other police report was that the other report made was under another driver’s name. It wasn’t the same driver who was involved in the accident. Isn’t this consider as making false police report? When I took down the particular of the other car’s driver, the driving license has expired I suspect it hasn’t been renewed. That’s the reason that they make the police report under some other people’s name. Can I stopped my insurance from paying them?
