I have said it before, a settlement regarding minor accident has to be concluded immediately. As many days have since passed by, the other party can now disclaim liability. You can however make a police report even now, but do you think it is worth it?

A car hit my back during a bumper-to-bumper jam. He insisted my bumper was ok but I suspect a small dent. He asked me to check at his friend’s workshop right then, but I have to send my girl to college. I wrote his car number and he got angry and started getting abusive when I asked to look at his IC. Today after the car washed, I found a dent. I called him and he rudely said he doesn’t want to do anything about it and asked me to make a police report. I said I’ll do it…and he asked for my car number. I said no need and hung up. What is my option now, as it is already more than 24 hours? Tq
