What are the different class or category of Malaysian driving license issued by the Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ)?

The Malaysian Road Transport Department issues 13 types of driving licenses.

The different driving licenses are:

1) Class A

Vehicles for the disabled person or Orang Kurang Upaya (OKU).

2) Class B

The class B license allows the holder to ride a motorcycle of all engine displacement.

3) Class B1

For B1, a license holder can ride motorcycles not exceeding 500 cc.

4) Class B2

A license holder can ride motorcycles not exceeding 250 cc.

5)  Class C

If you want to ride a motorized tricycles on Malaysian roads, you will need to get a Class C license.

4) Class D

Class D license is for cars with unloaded weight not exceeding 3500 kg.

The general Class D license is for manual transmission car.

If you are planning to drive only automatic transmission car, you will be issued the Class DA license.

5) Class E

Class E license holder can drive trucks or lorry of all classes.

6) Class E1

Class E1 license holders can driven trucks or lorry with unloaded weight not exceeding 7500 kg (BTM 7500 kg).

7) Class E2

Class E2 license holders can drive trucks or lorry with unloaded weight not exceeding 5000 kg (BTM 5000 kg).

8) Class F

For Class F, the license holders can drive tractors, lorry or light motorized machines (wheeled) with unloaded weight not exceeding 5000 kg (BTM 5000 kg).

9) Class G

Class G license holder can drive tractors or light chained motorized machines with unloaded weight not exceeding 5000 kg (BTM 5000 kg).

10) Class H

Class H license holder can drive tractors or heavy wheeled motorized machines with unloaded weight exceeding 5000 kg (BTM 5000 kg).

11) Class I

Class I license holder can drive tractors or heavy chained motorized machines with unloaded weight exceeding 5000 kg (BTM 5000 kg).

    Is there a B1 license category now? or is it just B and B2? I do not see anywhere, regarding the procedure for getting a B1 license.
