I have several friends who got their license in the 2010-2011 period who did not have to sit for the QTI. Is it mandatory? Also, according to my driving school, they did not inform us before hand but they said that we're required to take another 4 hours of practical on top of the 8 hours of instruction we've already had and paid for, and we have to pay 100 for the extra hours and QTI! All aspect of car control should be taught to the student gradually. It takes time. A student cannot be rushed into doing things. If after finishing the 8 hours, you're still not confident to drive well, you have little alternative but take further lessons through another driving school.
