Also leather jackets don’t give much protection than those meant for motorcycle

After I have moved into the right lane to overtake, he tuned his car right, infront of my car so I apparently hit him onto his right (near to the front half of the van) with my left side of the car. My car turned 180 degrees and landed in the ditch whilst his mini van flung to the left about 40 degrees on the left side of the road, after the collision. There was no clear junction for cars to stop or to make any turn to left or right. He intended to turn right because of his house located along the road there. The speed limit sign is another few kilometres where a small village exist, while his house is off the area. He said he had signalled to turn right but I did not see it. Who is in the wrong?That road has no junction but it has some houses on its left and right along it.
