According to my observation, the officer has the right to summon you for your actions. You must have been in a no parking / no stopping zone. A summons can either be handed to you there and then or it could be sent to you by post. Either way, it’s legal.

I suggest you pay up the summons immediately at the Bukit Aman police station. Do not do it again is all I can advice.

I was actually waiting in the engine running car beside a parked car along Jalan USJ9/5L for just 2 or 3 minutes while my friend was running downstairs to pass me some stuff.

How come the police not issue me the ticket in person. I was inside the car and the engine was running for just 2 or 3 minutes. Why send a postal summon?? I have the transaction & time logged in my dairy for proof. I was in the car, NOT parking the car.

Since this is the first summon I ever received, I don’t even know where to settle it. The summon was issued by Trafik Pasukan Bukit Aman

Example if a “P” licensed is obtained in Selangor can it be changed to a C.D.L license in Penang?

No special specification for coloured photo. Yes, you can supply passport sized photo. It can be trimmed down to size.

As to the requirement for the coloured photo, what are the specifications for it? Can I produce a passport size photo? And the background should be white or blue?
Thank you.
