If you are going to be here for some time, it’s always better to have your Dubai license converted into Malaysian license, if it’s possible. Again, converting your Dubai license into IDL is always a better alternative.

I have just taken up the offer of relocating to Malaysian office of the same company. Is there a need to convert my Dubai driving license to Malaysian at all? If at all, after how many months should I try to get it converted? I prefer using the same Dubai license in KL if there are no implications.

Also I have a domestic Dubai license….is there a need to convert it to International?

Thank you so much in advance for your guidance
