I feel you should have no problem using Malaysian license in Australia. Translation of you license is a good idea. Have your P license translated now so that you can use it immediately.

I’m a P license holder and am going to Adelaide in February, my friend in Melbourne said all u need to do is to go to JPJ and translate it to English for a small fee then it’s usable there.

I wanna verify whether is it that simple? My P license is expiring in March 2011. How do I go about that? Do i obtain my CDL then only translate to English or….?
