Btw, your blog is very informative and doing this for free I appreciate very much.

If car is very slow, best to change down to gear 1. Accelerate when going uphill is correct.

Best to follow what your instructor has taught you. However, you could follow your own ways, whenever necessary.

You see to have an instructor who is not very co-operative. I guess it is just your luck. Nevertheless, be patient and hopefully you’ll get over your difficulties eventually.

Do i need to change to gear 1 before i turn? My instructor ask me to leave the gear at 2 and just control the car with the break and release the break when turning and accelerate going up the hill. When i went for my QTI, i got points taken out by the tester for not changing to gear 1 whenever I turn.

Which is it? My instructor will just ignore me if I ask him a question, it’s rude and annoying. Another thing, during part III of the test, do you have to absolutely follow every step at the exact spot when to signal left and right and when to change gear to 3 or according to road condition like, trafic is clear so you change lane and you must reach certain speed to change to 3?

I still have extra classes with the instructor, even though I’m thick skin, it still feel a bit unnerving when you are being ignored or I’m too slow that he can’t be bothered anymore? I don’t know what his problem is? He didn’t say. Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Usually BM used. But many can speak English though.

I would like to enquire about the language used when taking driving license in Malaysia. Are we able to choose the language we want? For example, choose between Malay, English or Chinese. Or it will be purely in Malay?

Hope to hear from you soon!

Thank you!
