I suggest you find a good instructor to solve the problem you are facing.

last year around September, i took my practical exam but i failed twice. then came SPM and i stopped retaking the exam. This year i got to know that my instructor passed away. Now i dont know where is my L license.

if i lost my L license, i need to go to the jpj centre right? if so, what do i need to apply for a new L license at the centre?

The time frame suggested by you is just too short. I suggest you take your time to secure a driving license.

Indonesian driving license can be used hare. If you are stopped at road blocks and officers with to summon you, inform them that you’ll seek your Embassy help regarding the problem. And follow up by seeing your country’s Ambassador or Consulate.

Regarding conversion of Indonesian license into Malaysian license, the rules keep on changing. As you said, an Indonesian has to have a PhD as a requirement. The only solution is to test for a Malaysian license. This cost money and is very time consuming.

i’m indonesian student who study at degree level at private university in malaysia. I heard that Indonesian license can be used in Malaysia. But, I still afraid of driving here using Indonesian license since my friend sometimes got caught by roadblock and have to pay the police RM600. It happened 2 times. Because of that, i was planning convert my license in to malaysian license . I have been to JPJ and ask them. But they said that only Phd student can do conversion.
Is it true that indonesian license can be used?? What should i said to JPJ /police officer if i got caught by road block?? Do i have to get any translation??
Or is there any solution beside taking international license since its quite expensive in indonesia?
