Attend 6 hour course for B2 / B Full. Ideally seek help from driving school near you.

Unfortunately, getting L can be quite a hassle and rather costly too. Though, you’re exempted from Highway Code, you must attend a 6 hour theory course via a driving school / institute. The cheapest it is assumed, can cost at least RM100 or even more. Only after attending the course can you expect your L license to be issued.

My issues here are my car is in the workshop right now, and wont be coming out anytime soon, so the only transport i could get is by motorcycle. I never took B license before but i have my D license.

I been asking around about the license, what i heard is taking a B L license will be enough, and with valid D license i only have to pay rm20 just for the L license( is this true? ).

So today i went to JPJ and ask about the “L” license, they told me that i have to go through a driving school, so i went to a driving school institute, i ask for the price and they told me is RM300 Just for the “L”! the JPJ and Driving School lady look kinda blur while trying to answer my question though. So i’m kinda confuse here.

Is there a fastest way and cheaper way to get the B L license? and which place should i go? JPJ, Driving School or Driving Test center?

Advice will be so much appreciated.

Thank You.

I am turning 20 in November and am considering taking the B full license. I currently have a full D/car license. When I was taking my ‘L’ license two years ago, I attended the required hours for the car and motorbike license therefore my ‘L’ license at that time was issued for the B2 and D class. Of course this license has expired ever since. My queries are:

1) Do I have to sit for the 6 hour course again to renew my ‘L’ license for a B full license this time around?
2) If so, how much will it cost me?
3) Will I be issued another P license for my B full once I have passed the test as I already possess a full D/car license?
4) If so, how long will be the duration be for the P?

Thank you
