MyEG Computer Testing Centre Finally Moves To A New Centre In Jalan Kapar

For the last few years, the MyEG Computer testing centre was located in Batu Belah, Klang. The above centre was small, hardly able to accommodate more than 50 people or so.

During peak seasons, students and potential would be drivers had to bear difficult times when waiting for their turns to take their computer test.

I used to observe students waiting at the corridors and five foot ways outside the centre very often. And mind you, sometimes at the mercy of the hot and blazing sun.

These conditions which students had to face previously has finally come to an end. On the 20th December 2009, MyEG Computer Testing centre moved to its new premises located at 3 ¾ miles, Jalan Kapar, Klang.

Although a little further than the previous office, its new location near the former Bata Shoe Factory is much bigger and the conditions there definitely much better.

My assumption is that the new premises can hold at least 100 people easily in rather cool and comfortable surroundings. I have yet to use its toilet facilities.

But being a new building, it is assumed the new facilities should be better compared to the previous centre at Batu Belah.

The company itself should be commended for moving to a better place. It augers well for all concerned, the students and the driving school and institute personnel.

As mentioned earlier, the air con seems cooler. May be because it is new. We hope, the authorities will take steps to ensure and see to it that the present satisfactory conditions are maintained to ensure the comfort of students as well as driving instructors coming there.

The new MyEg test centre at Jalan Kapar, even has better and ample parking facilities at the shop nearby. In the end, we could safely conclude, the new centre is definitely a better place compared to its former place.

Besides all these good points, it should be pointed out that there are shops nearby for those wishing to refresh themselves. The former place, sad to note, hardly had any shops or stalls nearby.

Except for a few teething problems which the new MyEg centre faced the first few days of its transfer from Batu Belah, its computer system soon regained its former efficiency.

I have not made any new bookings lately, but am confident that bookings now can be made without any problems now!

The staff, I observed, have been more then helpful regarding computer test bookings so far. Again, as I said, it all augers well for the company itself.

Everything new has its good and bad. The new place, certainly has its drawbacks as well. Maybe, that’s normal.

The new place is slightly further compared to its former place. We sometimes face traffic jams while coming to the new place. But overall, it is definitely a better place all around.

Finally, as we always say, we should give credit where credit is due. To the company, we commend you for a choice well made. May you continue to provide better services to potential students who come to your centre to do the necessary Highway Code test. Syabas!

For those who may not be aware, this test centre cater for thousands of students from 3- 4 large institutes around the Klang area such as Pusat Memandu Kenderaan Klang (P.M.K.K), Rakan Ihsan Driving Institutes, Shah Bandar Driving Institute and even Cekap Driving Institute in nearby Sri Muda.

Greetings. I did not really read your article but did quickly glanced through. Im happy that the condition has improved for our ‘up-coming-drivers-to-be’ Unfortunately i was informed that the JPJ personnel in charge of ‘testing’ students were rather rude in their way of communication and that this particular car no.21, used by students for their test is not road worthy. I am not here t judge but was surprised by this remarks. There must be some truth because it did not come just from one single student. Thank you for reading my comments.

All cars prior to be used for test are tested by officials. However, there might be a few which break down after the test begin. Testers have to test a lot of students each day. Try to understand their composure from time to time.
