Langkah-langkah Ke Arah Mencapai Lesen Memandu Kereta (Kelas D)

Berhenti 2 meter belakang garisan. Tarik brek tangan.

Memandu dekat sekolah had laju 30 kmj. Di jalan raya, had laju purata 60 kmj. Pasti dapati kawal stereng dengan baik. Elok jangan “mengular” (tidak stabil). Beri jalan kepada kenderaan dan pengguna lain.

3) Memandu di garisan dua (Double Line)
Jangan potong di garisan kembar. Demikian juga di selekoh.

4) Memandu di Lampu Isyarat
Tuan-tuan hendaklah mematuhi lampu isyarat. Kalau kenderaan belum lepasi garisan kuning, and seharusnya Berhenti.

Jangan guna sebelah tangan semasa memandu. Anda diizinkan memegang dengan satu tangan apabila menukar gear.

Memandu dengan selamat semasa dijalan raya. Elakkan kemalangan berlaku semasa ujian. Apabila sampai balik be institut, hentikan kenderaan dan tarik brek tangan.

Sekian, terima kasih.

Mr.Yap,I have been practising the JPJ undang test and I was curious about the “H”sign in blueand the “Y” sign in yellow ,and although I managed to get a passing score most of the time(just nice 82),I don’t think that I can pass the test.Considering the unfamiliar questions and tricky ones.

    • admin

      Dear Emily Leong,

I agree some questions are tricky. Try overcoming the unfamiliar questions before sitting for the test.

Blue “H”, is for hospital. Yellow “Y” denotes fork road or a road branching into 2 directions.

Hope the above meets with your requests.

i am pretty scared that i might fail my exam cause i am not very good at remembering the road , the clutch and the, signal i get pretty nervous.

Any tips on how to pass with this problem? sorry for asking silly question

    • admin

      Dear Alice,

You have to learn sufficient times on the road to ensure you can drive well.

There are many articles in this blog that you can refer to. You are advised to read them.

      Dear Alice,

Do not worry! Learning driving for cars will remain at 17 for the time being.

    Hi,

Can you help clarify when is it when i need to do a car check ( signals, mirrors, viper etc.), is it just once and do part II and part III right after part II is completed or will I be call out for the two parts of the test on two separate occasions.

I am also not proficient in malay, will the testers be able to communicate in english?

And lastly for the slope test, for decending the slope, I pull the handbrakes, rev and slowly release the clutch until there is a small jerk then i release the handbrakes. Right after this do i just depress the accelerator further for the car to move or do i have to release more clutch at the same time?

    Thank You

    • admin

      Dear Kevin,

In practical test, Part II is slope. Part III is jalan raya or road test.

      You will be called separately.

Don’t worry! Simple English is sufficient for the test purposes.

Checking car: Check them before starting road test.

Your slope test appears correct. You are advised to depress clutch as you go down the slope.

      Best of luck!

Umm just asking, the “ujian komputer” is all same or just change the question number? By The Way, I fail my Ujian Komputer getting 40/50. So the second time i think i can do it, if the question remain the same or question number changed. I think i fail at the LAW part. KEJARA and the akta, seksyen.

    • admin

      Dear MZK,

There are 10 objective books in all. Each book has a different set of 50 questions each.

Yes, most people ignore the part on demerit system, A.P.J. ‘78 and motorcycles section. Study these parts well! You should be able to pass.

I m planning to take undang test soon. Is there any way to find the tool to practise undang test (English) like Emily Leong mentioned above. Appreciate all your help. TQ in advance.

    • Cikgu Yap

Regarding English text books, they are hard to locate. Please ask your driving instructor to help you.

Although I pass my QTI test, but I still cannot remember bhg 3 d.On the road. Can I ask the pegawai about the road during jpj test?because I am so confused with the junction there.
And 2nd,my slope.I can’t control my clutch and fuel pedal properly.Any advise?
Can I use side mirrors as my guide so the tires won’t go off the yellow line easily.Thanks.

    • Cikgu Yap

You are advised to learn few more times before your practical test. Avoid asking the tester for help, whenever possible. It looks as if your instructor has not done a good job with you. The only alternative for you is to learn up more times.

Yes, you can sue the side mirrors.

  8. lin

hello sya tak lama lg akan menghahadapi ujian test jpj ada tak tips untuk hilang kan rasa gementar ni pls tolong saya

    • Cikgu Yap

    • Cikgu Yap

Sebelum saya jawap apa-apa, bila mati undang-undang anda? Kalau tamat tempoh undang-undang, terpaksalah menduduki ujian undang-undang semula.

  10. pissedof

Tapi dia potong 9 markah.
    Bahagian 2 lulus.
    Terima kasih.

    • Cikgu Yap

Nampaknya anda kemungkinan silap faham bayaran ulangan ujian. Bayaran yang di kenakan sekolah memandu antara RM130 – RM150.

      Bayaran di atas untuk:
      1) 2 kali belajar tambahan (wajib) – RM50

      2) Daftar ulangan ujian oleh institut RM45 – RM55.

      Jumlah bayaran kesemuanya – RM95

  11. Eileen

    Hi Mr Yap,

I’m not good at driving uphill so my driving instructor offered me to skip the uphill test for RM350, but i think it was too far fetched i’m hesitant about it. What should i do?

    • Cikgu Yap

Professionally, I hold my comments on your instructor’s suggestion. The better solution is for you to undergo further classes to improve your slope driving. With further training, I’m sure you’ll improve and be able to do the slope well.

  12. henry

    Hi Cikgu Yap,

    During the jpj test…

    1) Should we always pull our handbrake at every T junction when stopped even if it quiet small kampung rouad near the IM?

    2) What are the best gear combination to pass through bumper area? switch down gear 1 and roll pass the bumper and then stick to gear 1 through the rest of the bumper? or we can slow down to near 0 km/hour with gear 2 and cruise through it.?

    3) whenever we try to stop ( traffic light or turning right &entering main road with dash line) , should we turn our gear down from 3-2-1 sequentially or can we just stop with gear two on and then move out with gear one?

My apologize if those question are too detail for this section but i have some problem getting advice from my instructor and my QTI is soon.

    thanks in advance

    • Cikgu Yap

Ideally, it’s suggested you pull up the handbrake at every T-junction, especially during J.P.J. test.

At speed breakers, you sometimes have to go down to gear 1 and slowly control the car over. You can use gear 2, control the car, slowing down to 0 km/h. Nothing wrong with that.

Stopping at traffic lights of junction – ideally for the 2 situations, bring the car down to 2 and stop. Then change to gear 1 and move off again when the lights turn green.

Feel free to air your problems. I welcome your queries.

      • henry

        Yo Cikgu Yap!

Thanks for the swift and precise response. How i wished i could meet such a committed and caring instructor near my area. Lastly i wish your all the best with your blog and career. Ty Cikgu Yap

i fail my Ujian Undang Undang J.R alot time -.- .. what can i do ?

    • Cikgu Yap

If I remembered correctly, a lady reader by the name of Prema Munusamy suggested:

      a) Get a copy of the 500 question objective test book for exercise.
      b) Try all the questions in it.

Sounds like a good advice. What about it?

  14. mr akmar

    saya gabra sikit mengenai
bukit kerna saya dah lepas kluch ckgu suruh tekan pedal laju tapi kenapa dia tersentak sentak????? n sementara kita berenti d lampu isyarat kemudian bebaskan gear tapi bila dah lampu hijau masuk gear 1 then belok ke kanan masuk pusat tapi waktu belok boleh masuk gear 2 x?????

    • Cikgu Yap

  15. mr akmar

apa yg mengerikan berlaku… semalam benda yg sama berlaku akhirnya gagal… :-( tersentak-sentak kereta yg sama walhal kereta lain saya naiki bukit ok.. tau tau dapat keta sama.. gagal ah.. nasib baik jalanraya ok

    • Cikgu Yap

  16. Ahyish

i’ve passed the part 2 (slope, parking and 3point), but failed on the road (part3).. shud i only to repeat on the road or need to repeat the part 2 also?

    • Cikgu Yap

Do only Part II (Jalan Raya).

  17. suhaila

    • Cikgu Yap

L biasa 3 bulan. Selepas itu, renew lagi. L boleh pakai biasanya sehingga 2 tahun. Ujian practikal, buatlah dalam 2 tahun itu.

  18. iffa

    hi ckgu yap.. =)
cuma nk berkongsi sesuatu dgn ckgu..semalam saya baru menduduki pretest. bahagian I dan II lulus.. bhgn III gagal sbb kawalan stereng sy xbagus dan ade beberapa perkara yg sy lupa lakukan..hari ni sepatutnye ade kelas terakhir sebelum test esok tp disebabkan masalah transport di institut tersebut, mereka xdpt ambil sy, jadi kelas terpaksa dibatalkan..sy xdpt berlatih n perbetulkan kesilapan sy smlm sdgkan sy akan menghadapi test jpj esok.. saya sgt gementar..apa yg harus saya lakukan?? tolong saya cikgu.. =(

    • Cikgu Yap

Merasa yakin, walaupun nervous, jangan sampai gementar. Be positive!

      • iffa

glad to share with u ckgu..thank you.. =)
saya harap sgt saya dpt buat yang terbaik dan lulus esok..pray for me yea ckgu! =)

  19. Aman

Bos kalau saya langgar org dr tepi smpi keta dia melambung walhal sepatutnya sebelum kuar simpang keta tu patut berhenti sbb ada tanda berhenti… siapa yg salah yer bos???

    • Cikgu Yap

Tapi berapa laju and pandu ketika itu?

  20. nia

    Hello cikgu..

dekat simpang after pull up the hand break, then if i want to continue back, can i just pull down first the hand break, or have to follow steps like bukit,, which is clutch, accelerator and hand break?

    Thanx

    • Cikgu Yap

If there are no slope around, simply leave the handbrake down and move off.

  21. RS

    Mr. Yap,
After u pass the road test, do the jpj officials give u a paper stating u passed?

  22. lala

    hello…

  23. farah

    hye Mr Yap,

sy nak tanya basic how to drive viva masa test jpj sbb selama saya belajar L sy belajar menggunakan kancil first version…bila test on the road sy di suruh pandu kereta produa viva masalahnya, bila saya lepas clucth enjin viva tu matikan sedangkan saya dah tekan minyak…so, sy nak minta tips how to control the viva so that enjin dia tak mati plus can i request to drive kancil during the JPJ test to the pegawai yang incharge…

    • Cikgu Yap

As Viva is bigger and heavier, step the accelerator pedal more to prevent the engine dying off. Leave the clutch 50% up. Control the other 50%, leaving the clutch up slowly as the car moves.

As you institute is using the Viva for the road test, I don’t think they will allow you to use Kancil instead.

  24. natasaha....

    hello cikgu yap…..
semalam sy tst jpj…..lepas tue ujian mendaki bukit dan parking lulus…..
cuma 3 penjuru sy gagal…..jpj suruh buat ulangan….adakah nanti sy cuma buat ulangan 3 penjuru??

    • Cikgu Yap

Kena buat bukit, side parking and kemudian 3 penjuru semula.

  25. shez

    Hallo Mr.Yap,

saya risau bahagian bukit, sbb sy akan test JPJ minggu depan (2/9/2010). Instructor sy takkan buat latihan dah.So sy confuse masa nak melepasi garisan kuning turun drpd bukit.sbb instructor sy ajar, masa nak melepasi bukit kena tekan minyak sampai menunjukkan meter 2-3 dan lepas clutvh perlahan2 sehingga kereta seperti tertujah kehadapan.Tp sy gagal lakukannya, kerana enjin selalu mati bila saya buat kaedah begini.Tetapi adik saya bgtaw bhw instructornya pula ajar angkat clutch sehingga meter 0.5,dan kemudian tekan minyak sehingga meter 4,kemudian turunkan hand brake dan jln.so yg mana betul dan kaedah paling baik,pleaseeeeeeeee..TQ

    • Cikgu Yap

      Elok anda mengikut kaedah adik.

  26. Amy

    Hi Mr Yap,

Im asking on behalf of my mother. Her license expired 3 years ago and she forgot to renew it.

Our question is, what are her options to getting her license again besides sitting for driving test? It is hard for her to drive a small manual car after 30 years of driving an auto car.

And if she does have to take the driving test, is it possible to use a automatic car instead?

Hope you can help with this. We are in a dilemma here! Thanks!

    • Cikgu Yap

Sorry, your mom’s license has become null and void. She’ll have to resit for Part II (Slope / Parking / 3 Point Turn) and Part III (Road) in a special test. She is exempted from Part I (Highway code) though.
