If you are an employer in Malaysia and you have a tax paying employee who ceased employment at your company, it is your responsibility to inform the Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN) or the Inland Revenue Board Of Malaysia.
To do that, you have to fill and submit the Form CP22A (Private Sector) or Form CP22B (Public Sector).
Inside the form, you are required to fill in the following information:
- Employer’s name and address
- Employer’s number
- Employer’s phone number
- Details of employee who left (Resigned, retired or death)
- Employee’s salary and benefits
- Employee’s undeclared income
- Other details
